HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS : VIGNETTE PHOTOGRAPHY
Heirloom Vignette Portraits are truly one of the most classic and timeless pieces of art you can not only enjoy now, but also pass down to future generations. They highlight the simple beauty of your child without any distraction.
After seeing heirloom photos of family members on both sides of my family, I’ve been burdened to do the same for you by preserving your little one in the most timeless way. My vignette photography portraits are true heirlooms made with museum archival materials so that they can not only be enjoyed now on the walls of your home, but also passed down throughout the generations.
A One of a Kind Multi-Generational Heirloom Portrait
a gift to enjoy now and pass down for generations to come
HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS PROCESS
Each fine art print is a custom piece of art that is intended to be passed down to your family for generations. They are museum archival quality prints ensuring the best of the best. For protection, each heirloom portrait print is finished with protective spray to guard them from dirt, UV rays, fingerprints, and moisture.
Maintaining consistency is key to not only deliver you with a quality heirloom, but also allow you the confidence to repeat heirloom portraits every few years or as siblings come along. One of the ways I do this is by using studio lights which means you never have to worry if it’s a cloudy or stormy day outside.
In order to provide you with a true heirloom portrait, I oversee the process from start to finish. I offer custom framing featuring some of the most premier framing lines in the world. I will oversee the whole framing experience for you down to the glass itself: 99% UV blocking museum glass. Your framed pieces come ready to hang.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages are allowed for Heirloom Portraits?
As long as your child can hold their head up firmly and maintain head control while sitting they may participate. The early years (1 year-elementary age) are the sweetest to photograph in my opinion; however, a child is never too old. Just remember, your child only gets older, so this is a way to stop time & forever document them now.
If I have multiple children, can they all be photographed together in the same picture?
In order to maintain the custom art and integrity of your heirloom product, each child will have their own individual portrait done. It is very important to me that each child has their own portrait to hang in the walls of their home someday. A separate session is needed for each child participating. There are no sibling photos.
My children are all different ages. Do you recommend doing them all at once (different ages) or doing my oldest and waiting until the rest of my children are the same age?
This truly is your preference. There is a convenience factor that goes along with doing everyone all at once so that you have them of all your children and can immediately hang their completed portraits together rather than having to wait several years to have a completed gallery.
How long is each Heirloom portrait session?
Each sitting is 15 minutes long. If you have multiple children they will each have a separate sitting, but will be photographed back to back.
What does the sitting fee include?
The sitting fee covers the portrait session, Molly’s time and experience, and at least 5 proofs in color and black and white. The sitting fee does not include any products or digital images.
Is there a discount for booking multiple children within one household?
Yes, if more than one sibling is being photographed back to back on the same day, there is a savings of $25 per sitting fee/child that will be applied towards your final product order.
What should my child wear for their Heirloom Portraits?
One of the most important parts to a successful session is properly choosing what your child will wear. To ensure a timeless and classic look, please follow the detailed session guide I send after booking your session. The guide will not only include more details about what to wear, but provide you with direct links for easy shopping.
Where do the sessions take place?
All sessions currently take place at my home in Dallas.
Do you travel?
I have hosted one event outside of Dallas (in Waco). While I’m currently only doing these in Dallas, I am not completely opposed to traveling. Please contact me if you’d be interested in hosting.
If I travel in from out of town, how do I receive my order?
Often, out of town clients have family living close by who will come and pick up the order. If you do not have family and are unable to pick up your order yourself, everything can be drop shipped to you. If you choose to have a portrait framed through me like the majority of my clients do, there will be an added charge of $125/frame to help cover the cost of shipping and to ensure it’s uttermost protection.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, I do. These make great grandparent gifts.
